Bringing Greater Vancouver together

Terry Nova Parkway

Ever want to go have lunch on a quiet grass field on a sunny day? Here is one spot for those who answered yes. Terry Nova Parkway is located on the north edge of Richmond, BC, Canada.

Terry Nova Parkway is directly next to the Vancouver International Airport island. As a result, you can count planes leaving when you’re really bored or be awed by the awesome-ness of Jumbo passenger jets. Nonetheless, it is an open area for your enjoyment.

There are benches to sit to enjoy the view, grass fields to play ball games, and paved walkways to have a long jog. Also, there is a shopping Plaza nearby (I believe it is called Terry Nova Plaza) to grab some food and bring it to park to eat.

Terry Nova is an excellent place to have a nice walk after dinner if you live in the neighborhood.

Garry Point Park

My girlfriend and I went to Garry Point Park for some fish and chips on a day off a few weeks ago. This park is located on the southwestern edge of Richmond, near Steveston.

It is a neat park at the edge of the city with lots of sand, large grass field, and a long paved walk route. The water, unfortunately, is murky and not suitable to swim in.

Nonetheless, the park is an excellent hanging out spot for BBQs and outdoor games. Also, there is a Pajos located in a building in the park. Pajos is a fish and chips food store that I think is one of the best around town.

During our walk along the walk route, we discovered what appeared to be a Christmas ornament made out of metal. Something strange indeed.
