Samurai Sushi

Japanese food comes in all shapes and sizes. Surely there is a preference over quality and quantity.  However, if you do choose the latter, then you must try Samurai Sushi. Many Vancouverites know of this place already but I have met people who have never heard of Samurai Sushi.

Since I dined here recently, I’d like to share my experience.

To begin with, Samurai Sushi is a small restaurant. There are not many seats and I advise that eaters do “take-out” so they can eat in a less crowded environment because often times there will be people crowding in the store for pick ups.
On their menu, they offer many Japanese dishes.  From noodles to party trays, they have many dishes just like a eat-in restaurant. Once again, quantity is stressed here. Every sushi roll is over sized and jam packed. Party trays (from $20-$35) are enough to feed 4 average person. Compared to many eat-in restaurants, I find Sashimi to be quite the “bang for your buck.” Despite the quantity of the sushi and the value, drinks are not included.

They offer discount if you pre-order earlier! Bookmark their website and order before hand if you are hunger for some Samurai Sushi.

Unfortunately, they only have 2 locations and they’re both in Vancouver:

6428 Fraser Street – 604-676-4479
1108 Davie Street – 604-609-0078

Their website address is http://www.samuraisushi.ca/
